Pataias

Here you will also find local fruits and vegetables, as well as fresh fish that is delivered every day from Nazare, which is right next door.

This village is also surrounded by kilometres of pure air and Portugal's largest pine forest. Planted by King D. Dinis, the Pinhal de Leiria, also known as the King's Forest, is rich in species and dirt roads that wind their way to the dunes and rugged cliffs of the nearby beaches.
