2025 Highlights: Sharing Portugal with the World, One Show at a Time

What a year it’s been for Portugal Realty! Our team has travelled across the globe, meeting so many aspiring home buyers from around the world who share one dream: discovering the simple life in Portugal.

From the UK to Sweden and across to the US West Coast, throughout 2025, we were on the ground in multiple cities (sometimes in different shows, simultaneously!), with our own stand at each event, ready to welcome visitors and share expert advice.

Because nothing replaces face-to-face conversations when it comes to making one of life’s biggest decisions: buying property abroad!

2025 Property Shows: The highlights, stories & big moments

We kicked off the year at 'A Place in the Sun Live' — starting in the UK with shows in Bristol (1–2 February), then Manchester (28 February–2 March), London (9–11 May), and Birmingham (19–21 September), and wrapping up in Ireland, at the Dublin show (11–12 October).

This event — which is the UK’s leading overseas property exhibition — gave us a chance to present our Simple Life home Buyer services, answer questions about buying property in Portugal, showcase new property launches, and also distribute our exclusive Portugal The Simple Life Magazine (download your FREE copy here).

For many families, stepping into A Place in the Sun was the moment their dream of buying a property in Portugal suddenly felt not only possible, but simple. Just like Ken & Lisa, whose path to a holiday home on the Silver Coast started at the London show (hear their story in this special podcast episode).

At each show, we also had the chance to take part in the Live Seminars held at The Hub and Seminar Theatre. A great platform to share insights, answer questions and connect with visitors.

From 1–2 March, we joined Köpa Hus Utomlands in Gothenburg - Sweden, to connect with Nordic buyers interested in property in Portugal.

In each show, we spoke not only with families looking for property under the Portuguese sun, but also investors who see the Silver Coast as a smart financial choice, thanks to strong rental returns and solid long-term value.

In September, we crossed continents to participate in the Living in Portugal Seminars on the US West Coast, delivering insider tips about investing in Portuguese real estate in San Francisco, Portland and San Diego.

Our Sales Director and popular podcast host, Dylan Herholdt, shared his personal experience of living on Portugal’s Silver Coast and why it’s a safe, accessible, high-potential place to invest in a home or second residence.

A wonderful opportunity to meet US-based buyers who are seriously considering Portugal to invest abroad. Face-to-face, in relaxed settings, answering real questions and building genuine trust.

Looking ahead to 2026

For 2026, we’re already setting our sights on being more present and connected than ever!

First up: A Place in the Sun Live – Manchester, which will take place from 27 February to 1 March 2026. This show will be the first event for UK buyers to meet us face to face, get all their questions answered, and receive friendly advice and expert guidance on buying property in Portugal.
